"Study says many dial-up users don't want broadband"

Yahoo! News: "A new study suggests that attitude rather than availability may be the key reason why more Americans don't have high-speed Internet access."

It reminds me of a delicate situation at work. The majority of those on our payroll has direct-deposit into their respective bank accounts. There are the last few hold-outs, including one of the managers, who just don't want it for one reason or another, whether traditionalism, distrust of a proven steady system, or dodging banks because they fear discovery of some debt.

I still say the Dark Ages should be left as something to recollect as a part of history, but should be left as such.
